Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, pop/alt artist Benedict is a genre-bending force crafting emotive, cinematic soundscapes defined by ethereal melodies and haunting, sirenic vocals. A songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, they draw on lived experience and their Scandinavian and Celtic roots to explore themes of love, identity, social justice, and raw human emotion.
Influenced by artists such as Joan Baez, Tracy Chapman, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, and Björk, Benedict’s work feels both timeless and revolutionary. After years of touring and founding Tomboi Records, they now emerge with their upcoming EP INDIGO, featuring the bold non-binary anthem NOT A GIRL and the powerful CRIES OF HUMANITY. With praise from Rolling Stone Australia and a recent HBO sync, Benedict is stepping confidently onto the global stage.
